MeteoBlend — Privacy Policy

The short version: MeteoBlend collects no data about you.

MeteoBlend has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no server of its own. Your favourite cities, settings and the last forecast are stored only on your device and never leave it.

Location

If you tap “Locate”, your coordinates are used once to request a weather forecast. They are sent directly to the weather data provider (Open-Meteo) to answer that single request, are not stored by MeteoBlend, and are never linked to your identity. Using the app without location access works fully — just search for a city.

Third-party services

Forecast data comes from Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com), radar imagery from RainViewer, and map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Requests to these services include the technical information any web request carries (such as your IP address); their own privacy policies apply to that traffic.
